On July 16th and 17th, 2018, Professor Patrizia Meringolo (UNIFI - SCIFOPSI), Coordinator of PROVA Project, hosted Professor Alba Ximena Zambrano Constanzo (Director of the Department of Psychology, Universidad de La Frontera, Chile, and Director of the Master’s Degree course in Community Psychology, with special expertise in juvenile deviance and community-based prevention) to introduce results and findings coming from activities of WPs 3 and WP4 of PROVA Project. The partner team of LabCom also participated to the meeting.
The meeting allowed to discuss about the violent radicalisation among juvenile offenders in prison and in probation, and represented an opportunity to exchange good practices developed in the two countries (Italy and Chile), and possible tools for future cross-cultural interventions on the theme.
The UNIFI team will also participate to the International Community Conference, which will be held in Santiago (Chile) at the beginning of October 2018, where Professor Zambrano is the Scientific Committee Chair.
