On September 27 – 28, 2018 the CJRAE - Centrul Judeţean de Resurse şi Asistenţă Educaţională (County Center for Resource and Educational Assistance) of Iaşi, Romania, organised the Days of CJRAE Iasi, an event aimed at promoting psycho-pedagogical assistance services, projects, programs and information resources as well as valorisation of psycho-pedagogical specialists.
The event opened with the National Conference "XXI Generation. Intergenerational and psycho-pedagogical dialogues", where representatives from universities, teachers, psycho pedagogical specialists, school counselors, speech therapists, NGO’s, public authorities, schools and high schools from Romania and Republic of Moldova had the opportunity to discuss and reflect on the actual challenges the XXI generation have to approach and manage.
Assoc. prof Ovidiu Gavrilovici from Psiterra (Romanian partner of Prova project) proposed the subject of violent radicalisation and conflicts while presenting the main activities and results of PROVA project, emphasising the role of schools as a front line in preventing violent radicalisation and conflicts.
The National Conference took place on Thursday, September 27, from 14.30 to 17.30, in the" Mihai Eminescu" Hall in Astoria Iasi, and on Friday, from 10.00 to 12.00, at CJRAE Headquarters Iasi, with a series of workshops supported by educational specialists.
The conference was also highly supported by the local radio and television stations and newspapers such as, ziaruldeiasi.ro, radioiasi.ro, stirimoldova24.ro.
