Mission
The CPA of Florence is a Service of the Juvenile Justice and Community Department with territorial jurisdiction for the regions of Tuscany and Umbria and is dependent on the CGM in Florence. The CPA is an essential public service that provides 24-hour reception of minors, males and females, aged 14 to 18 who have committed a crime in the above regions. The CPA guarantees the minors' stay until the validation hearing. The maximum time between the minor's arrest and his exit from the CPA is 96 hours. It is almost always the first service with the minors has contact when he is caught and consequently private of personal liberty (arrest, detention or accompaniment) on the disposition of the judicial authority, ie the Prosecutor of the Republic in the Court For Minors of Florence or Perugia (Public Ministry) according to their territorial competence.

Place/Facilities: inside the IPM.
Main actions: Collect the significant and essential documentation of the training and schooling of the minors, record the observations of teachers, educators, volunteers who worked in the Institute and described the following courses, educational progress and results achieved.
Additional information: In addition to the portfolio, it’s been proceeded to the creation of a database containing sports associations, cultural associations, companies, to include the boys for a possible training / career path This database was send to the USSM.
